On Tuesday morning I got the great opportunity to present to an intrepid few who braved the rain to make it to my South By Southwest Interactive talk, “Dangerous Curves: Hockey Sticks, Swine Flu and More.” #dangerouscurves
I thought the energy in the room was great, even though we were closing in on the last few talks of the conference, and the morning after what had been for some the 4th consecutive “morning after”.
Without further ado, here’s my deck that everyone wanted:
Feel free to click through it, and in the bottom left there is a link if you want to download the preso (you will need to create a Slideshare.net account).
UPDATE: I have added the audio portion of my SXSW presentation to this Slideshare deck, but it is currently unsynchronized due to limitations in their service. Visual and audio may not be related, but are in the same order.
Also, if you’re going to tweet or blog about this, please use the hashtag #dangerouscurves so I can track all of it.
Best,
-Rolfsky

The Flash embed isn’t working for me, although it might just be an intermittent thing. Is it displaying OK for you?

Try the main slideshare site Leon: http://www.slideshare.net/rolfsky
If none of those presos are working for you, then it looks like a browser config problem. Best, -Rolf

Todd Sattersten has a great writeup of my talk over on his blog: http://toddsattersten.com/2010/03/sxswi—dangerous-curves.html
Also, take some time to check out his most recent work, “Fixed to Flexible”, available free in ebook form: http://toddsattersten.com/2010/02/fixed-to-flexible.html
I really like this stuff.

Rolf – I so loved this talk. Hope I can get you out to Colorado sometime to share it with my clients or some of the organizations I belong to. I know everyone would enjoy it. Expect that invitation from me at somepoint!
